Beginners Courses
Long Eaton Field Archers usually run several beginners courses through the year.
The courses take one full day to complete. The dates for 2010 are:

Beginners course No 1 - Sat 6 March FULLY BOOKED
Beginners course No 2 - Sun 11 April DATE CHANGED
Beginners course No 3 - Sat 22 May
Beginners course No 4 - Sat 3 July
Beginners course No 5 - Sun 12 September
Beginners course No 6 - Sun 17 October

Club Coaches
Head Coach for the Long Eaton Field Archers is Doug Hart who first took up the
sport in 1959 when he joined the Rayleigh Archery Club, Nottingham,
shooting target archery on their sports ground in Old Coach Road, Wollaton.
Doug is a coach with the National Field Archery Society (NFAS)
and the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS).

Child Protection
For 12 year olds and under, a parent or family adult (18 plus) must complete the course with the child. From 12 to 16 an adult responsible for the child must accompany them at all times.
