Long Eaton Field Archers are a field archery club, run entirely by volunteers. We have about 200 members, mostly from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and neighbouring counties. We put on club shoots for our members, open shoots for other clubs, beginners courses and ongoing coaching and more, all in a wood near Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Field archery is archery done in the woods as opposed to Target archery which takes place on a field. Confused? Don't be. At the end of the day we are all archers with very similar disciplines, but we have different types of bows, targets, and areas in which we shoot. Read 'What is Field Archery' and take a look at our gallery and it will become clearer.
